EcoLog Homes are surprisingly affordable. The turnkey cost of an EcoLog home is comparable to that of a similar sized frame construction building.

As we do not offer cookie-cutter, static designs, we do not issue firm price lists. Better yet, we commit to a price per square foot, which applies at the time you sign your delivery contract with us. This price for our building kits is based on the square footage of the main floor – the footprint of your home. At present, this price is $42/sq. ft. It includes all materials required to complete the wooden shell of your EcoLog building but does not include windows, doors, outer roof covering or footings and foundations. (more details here).

Accordingly, the price for a 1,600 sq ft home kit (960 sq ft lower level and 640 sq ft upper level/loft), for example, is $40,000 which calculates to a cost of $25/sq ft of living space. Detailed pricing can be provided based on your final design.

DESIGNS
EcoLog Homes are custom designed – each one is laid out and planned to fit the specific requirements of our customers. Dedicated and experienced staff guide clients through the design process to arrive at a home layout, which considers applicable sizing, the specific building location, desired special features and personal preferences.

The only limitation to an EcoLog design is your imagination and the fact that trees do not grow sky high. This means that EcoLog building components are limited to 24’ in length. However, by extending timbers by any multiple and applying a modular design approach (which creates building outline shapes of Ts, Ls, Us or cross designs), EcoLog Homes can and have been built from floor level sizes of several hundred square feet to spaces exceeding many thousand square feet.

In addition to the traditional log home shell, EcoLog offers its customers standard additions incorporated into the building kit such as roof extensions and customized porch designs.

The EcoLog concept is not limited to residential applications. Since its inception in 1995, EcoLog building designs have also been used for tourism, commercial and industrial applications.
